Outside Of the Tomb

We sit outside the tomb.

Violence. Assault. War. Poverty. Racism. Sexism. Bigotry. Bullying.
These atrocities find their resting place in the crevices of the stone no human being can roll away.

How long O Lord? How long until You roll the stone away and Resurrect our broken world?
How long before you speak and cause the earth to shake again?

The silence is deafening.
We sit outside the tomb
As we stare into the void between life and death.

Longing for Resurrection.
